There are
many people in and around Alora who play musical instruments,
although unfortunately I am not one of them. But I like to listen
and someone who listens must surely be part of the equation.
Live music for me is still the best, even though there can be
no denying the potential of modern recording equipment, in the
right hands. I like new music in particular. In the days of posters,
one I had on my wall said Music is Travel. And I agree. Jamming
offers the added excitement of not knowing where you are travelling
to. And when good musicians get together, as they do every fortnight
at Rob’s Bar, then the journey becomes even more rewarding.
Hay mucha
gente en y cerca de Álora que toca instrumentos músicos,
aún por desgracia no soy yo uno de ella. Pero me gusta
a escuchar. Y alquien que escucha debería ser por cierto
una parte de la ecuación.
Música viva para mi es todavía la mejora, aún
no se puede negar el potential de buen equipo en un estudio de
grabación, en las manos expertas. Me gusta lo más
música nueva. En los días de los afiches, uno que
tenía en mi pared decía Música es un Viaje.
Y me acuerdo. Jamming ofrece la emoción de no saber adónde
viajes. Y cuando buenos músicos juntan, como lo hacen cada
quinceria en Rob’s Bar, el viaje se hace gratificante.
