Set in the heart of the wonderful Andalucian countryside, with spectacular views in all directions, this is an ideal place to relax, perhaps by the pool or on the large sunny terrace while soaking up the tranquillity and natural splendour of the surrounding mountains and citrus groves. At the same time it is ideally situated for further exploration of the area with the Guadalhorce Lakes and the El Chorro Gorge being very nearby, offering opportunities to enjoy a wide variety of activities, such as walking, bird watching, quad biking, cycling, canoeing and rock climbing. In addition the fascinating cities of Granada, Antequera, Cordoba and Seville are all close enough for an unforgettable day’s exploration, while the city of Malaga and the beaches on the Costa del Sol are only half an hour away by car or by train and bus from Alora.

The ground floor apartment (Tierra) sleeps a maximum of four people. There is a master bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. A studio (Comedor), also situated on the ground floor, is suitable for two people. The first floor apartment (Agua) is suitable for three people and has a double bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. The adjacent studio (Sol) sleeps two people, but also has a sofa bed for an additional person. Aqua and Sol are connected by a lockable inner door and can either be booked individually or together. All rooms are bright, spacious and beautifully decorated and have air-conditioning and heating.

Your Dutch hosts, Erica and Rik, will do everything they can to make you feel at home. Breakfast can be served either on the terrace or in your apartment at a cost of 7 euros per person and when the weather permits, which in this splendid part of the world is very often, they offer evening meals served on the terrace. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays there is a set menu at a cost of 11.50 euros per person, excluding drinks, while on the other days of the week they offer ‘what the cook prepares’ for 9 euros per person, excluding drinks. On occasions there are tapas and barbecue evenings. Vegetarian cuisine can be provided on request and packed lunches are available for day trips.
